I live in Marina di Pisa, on the Tuscany Coast, 12 kmts by Pisa and her Lining Tower. I work at the local Chamber of Commerce all mornings and in the afternoon I'm a mother, a wife, an housewife and, finally, a Bear Maker!!

I've three daughters of 21, 19, 19 years old (yes a couple, two different twin!) an husband that supports me when he can and a big house for all of us and our two cats (Tabbies), dogs (white and apricot poodles) and three turtles (one 1 year old).
So I'm not a professional bear maker but an hobbyist, who contrives to find everywhere time to create her little furry fellows.

Since two years ago I made candles and fairy lumbers. Living on the coast make me able to have the best sea wood and I used to go on the beach or on the cliffs to find something special for my creations. Was during an internet session, to find new polymer clay for my gnomes that I found teddy bears the first time.

Then I surfed only to know more and more about, I bought a lot of teddies on e-bay before trying to make a bear by myself, frightening to be not able to do so. But my wish to have the teddy I love, my own Teddy Bear to kiss, was powerful than fear and I started this new adventure!

I create Teddies in my private room, "The Green Room" we say, a wooden room with a lot of magic things in! And when I say a lot, it means a lot, be sure! It's my own Wonder Place!!

There are a lot of bears, bought, olds of mine, new, experiments, fairies, elves, gnomes, candles, my daughters pictures, the PC, sea woods, souvenirs, and more and more.....
There are some flying witches too!!
It's a matter of fact that I love babies, and I consider all my bears like my babies: they need their mummy and her protection.

I put on e-bay the first bear on may 2007, and now he lives in USA. It was so exciting for me to know that some other people liked a bear of mine as I did, till to pay for him, that I started crying. My creature should have had home on the other side of the world with a new mom! Outstanding!!!

My first competition was TWTBAA 2008 and it was my first prize too (3¢X). After that I entered many other competitions and I've had a lot of nominations and prizes! On Teddy Bear Times they told that "Annalisa had taken all the 'rules' and thrown them out the window" but if a lot of people from all over the world like my bears, it means that they were in right when they wrote again that it's "All Wrong Right!"

I love my little creatures and their large, large heads (like Jap mangas) they are so huggables!!!
