"Hi, I'm Wendy Ching and I make 'PUDDLES' under the banner of 'Matilda Huggington-beare' Puddle's are my 'Teddy Style Platypus' Platypus (no plural) are a monotrene which means they are egg laying mammals. They are usually solitary animals and live in streams. They feed on fresh water crustaceans. I have always been fascinated by these creatures. So it really isnt so strange that My first Puddle was a happy accident. I have branched out and also make DUCKS. I live in Rockingham Western Australia. We are a seaside Town South of Perth. Rockingham is a navy town. The WA navybase is housed on Garden Island. Which we can see from the foreshore. There is a course way that links Garden Island and Rockingham. We are a very old town. One of WA's first settlements was on Garden Island. But just lately, Rockingham has been pushed into the 21st century with major upgrades and development. Rockingham is a great place for the iconic laid back seaside holiday. I love it here. I do a lot of 'Puddle thinking' while gazing over the Indian ocean. Its a great place for creativity. I make my wee designs in my workroom, which was once a guest bedroom. I swapped the beds for the dining table and I have not looked back. I find myself inspired by the natural Aussie world around me. My favourite tree is the Acorn Banksia. Which is indigenous to this area. I planted one outside my bedroom window. I love to watch the birds feeding on the nectar. I'm highly influenced by this tree and add many elements of it to my creations. cheers WendyC " Wendy Ching
