Originally from Auckland in New Zealand I moved to Australia in 1981. From my first trip to Australia at the age of seventeen for a three week holiday a love affair was established that lasts to today. This year marks my 28th year of permanent residency. I am married and live with my husband and daughter on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW in the Wyong Shire with its beautiful lakes and beaches and bush I have the beauty of both worlds right at my door. . I launched my own label as Woodbury Park Bears in 2007 taken from the name of the estate I live in at Mardi near the twin lakes of Tuggerah & Budgewoi.

Also residing with us are Busta a 4year old Beagle and Ziggy a 4 year old Border Collie X English Sheep Dog they are my "boys" and I love them to bits and Chloe our 13 year old tabby girl.

I love all things crafty and have tried many forms I keep my hands busy often finding myself up in the small hours working away in my favourite chair on a project I just can't put down.

Starting as a collector in the mid 90's I eventually some 10 years later took the plunge to making and then designing my own bears and have not looked back I just love it. I take inspiration from everything around me from a piece of jewellery or a button to animals and other artists work. I use many different techniques depending on what I want to achieve, needle felting and air brushing being favourites. My ambition is to pass on what I know and learn to others that want to share this bear making road with me.
